A trial has been set Jan. 7., 2019, for a man who allegedly shot at another man, and hid the weapon behind Sawmill Plaza on Sept. 30.

No one was harmed in the incident.

Jarred A. Davidson, 25, of Sitka, was indicted by a grand jury in early October on Class C felony charges of assault in the third degree and tampering with physical evidence in connection with the incident.

At an omnibus hearing for Davidson on Friday, Superior Court Judge Jude Pate set Jan. 7 as the day for the trial to begin. The calendar call was scheduled for Jan. 2.
