Harp Sing Set
    The Second Sunday Sitka Sacred Harp Sing is set 3:30-5 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Sitka Pioneers Home Chapel.
    Beginners and listeners are being encouraged to attend. For more information call 738-2089.

    Meth-Free Sitka
    Meeting on Tap
    Together for a Meth-Free Sitka will host a community meeting  6 p.m. Nov. 12 at Centennial Hall.
    Presentations include: progress of the working groups; and the effects of meth, signs and symptoms of use and potential course of action for treatment by Eileen Gallagher, BA multicultural counseling, MA mental health counseling, certified addictions specialist in Washington and Alaska.

    Sitka Sprouts
    Group for Kids
    The Sitka Sound Science Center is introducing a new program, Sitka Sprouts, for 3- to 5-year-olds.
    The weekly science exploration will include stories, activities and crafts.

    ANB to Meet;
    Veterans Day
    Dinner Served
    Alaska Native Brotherhood Camp 1 will meet 6-9 p.m. Nov. 11 at the ANB Founders Hall.
    In recognition of Veterans Day, the ANB and Alaska Native Sisterhood will host a potluck dinner honoring  veterans from 6 to 7 p.m.
    The ANB welcomes community and ANB/ANS members to participate in both the meal and the meeting.

    Language Groups
    Update Meetings
    The weekly French language group will not meet on Tuesday, Nov. 12. It will resume it meetings Nov. 19.
    The weekly Spanish language group will meet Nov. 20 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at UAS room 110. There is no cost, and everyone is welcome. Call Paul at 738-9456 with questions.
