Service Changed
    For Bill Church
    Due to construction work at the ANB Harbor, the Mariners’ Memorial Wall will not be available for the services planned there for Bill Church.
    Services will now be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 18 at Totem Square.

    Emblem Club Set
    Christmas Party
    Sitka Emblem Club 142 will be having a Christmas party and meeting at 1 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Elks Lodge.
    A gift exchange will be held for those who wish to participate. Call Glade Morales at 738-6030 for more information.                   
 
    Children’s Party
    At Elks Lodge
    The Elks children’s party will be held 1 p.m. Dec. 22 at the Elks Lodge.  Elk families are reminded to sign their children up. It is sponsored by Emblem and elf helpers are needed. Call Judi at 738-6326 for information.

Richard K. Lowry

    Airman Graduates
    Basic Training
    Air Force Airman Richard K. Lowry graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
    The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
    Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
    Lowry is the son of Debra Quintin of Sitka and is a 2012 graduate of Sitka High School.

    Group to Meet
    The White Elephant Shop monthly meeting will be held 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at  the Swan Lake Senior Center. Meetings are open to the public.
