Kaagwaantaan
    Dancers Meet
    Sitka Kaagwaantaan Dancers will practice 3 p.m. Sunday in Room 114 at Blatchley Middle School.
    Dancers must attend the meeting to register for attendance at Celebration 2014 in Juneau.


    Ukulele Update
    Free beginner ukulele lessons are 5-6 p.m. Sundays at the Pioneers Home chapel. Participants will learn and practice chords and the basic strum.
    “The hundred” ukuleles will follow, 6-7:30 p.m., also in the chapel.

    SAFV Board Meets
    The board of Sitkans Against Family Violence will meet 5:30 p.m. April 14 at the shelter. The meeting is open to the public. For directions and more information, call 747-3370.

    Fry Bread Sale
    The Sitka Skippers will be selling Easter bread and fry bread at the Rainy Day Bazaar 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
    Supplies are limited.

    Money Smart
    Presentation On
    Cindy Gibson will give a presentation on retirement planning noon-1 p.m. Friday at Kettleson Memorial Library
    Attendees are welcome to take a brown bag lunch. The library will provide beverages. The talk is part of the MoneySmart week programs organized by University of Alaska Extension program and Kettleson Memorial Library.
    MoneySmart Week was established by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago to help consumers learn to better manage their personal finances.
