Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today:
March 19
At 7:49 a.m. a caller reported criminal mischief at a facility.
At 2:24 p.m. a caller requested police assistance.
A parking problem was reported at the Starrigavan boat launch at 4 p.m.
An EMS call came in at 8:50 p.m.
At 9:23 a caller asked for a welfare check on Lance Drive.
At 11:21 p.m. a caller reported a civil dispute.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls Thursday, one at 4:42 p.m. and one at 8:55 p.m.
In Court
Scott Allen Moore, 56, on a charge of assault in the fourth degree, recklessly injure, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 30 days, suspended. He is to obtain an integrated health assessment and follow recommendations. He will be on probation for one year.
Tisha Bagley, 42, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving under the influence and was sentenced to 30 days with 27 suspended, and fined $1,500. She is to get local counseling, and her driver’s license is revoked for 90 days. After regaining driving privileges she is to use an ignition interlock device for six months. She will be on probation for one year.

Matthew C. Hunter of Sitka recently returned from Cuba as part of a St. Olaf College International and Off-Campus Studies program. Hunter, a junior physics major at St. Olaf College, is the son of Robert and Kim Hunter of Sitka.
