Sitka Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today:

May 12

At 11:58 a.m. criminal mischief was reported at totem park.

A welfare check was requested in the 3200 block of HPR.

Citizen contact was logged at 2:26 p.m. on Katlian Street.

At 6 p.m. a disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Marine Street.

A citizen assist was requested at 6:52 p.m. in the 200 block of Lincoln Street.

At 6:57 p.m. a sexual assault at Centennial Hall was logged.

A welfare check was made in the 300 block of Lake Street at 8:24 p.m.

Disturbances were reported on Naomi Kanosh Lane at 8:37 p.m.; at the Pioneer Bar at 10:26 p.m.; and in the 4000 block of HPR at 10:27 p.m.

May 13

A domestic problem was reported at 12:01 a.m. in the 900 block of HPR.

At 12:06 a.m. suspicious activity was reported near a business at Lincoln and Lake streets.

At 2:06 a.m.  citizen contact was logged on the old airport road.

 

Sitka Police

Noel See, 50, was charged with sexual assault in the second degree Tuesday.

Michael Busby, 33, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal mischief.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 11:13 a.m., 1:03 p.m., 2:09 p.m., 2:10 p.m., 11:06 p.m. and 11:27 p.m. Tuesday, and 3:42 a.m. today.
