Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today:

May 19

At 11:26 a.m. a traffic accident with damage was reported at 1200 Edgecumbe Drive.

Criminal mischief was reported at Centennial Hall at 12:04 p.m.

An assault was reported at a downtown hotel at 12:53 p.m.

At 1:17 p.m. an animal problem was reported in the 400 block of Lake Street.

A traffic complaint was filed at 3:03 p.m. from a store in the 1300 block of SMC.

At 4:27 p.m. a caller reported suspicious activity at Eliason Harbor.

A Title 47-mental report was logged at 5:22 p.m. from the 1700 block of HPR.

A citizens contact incident was logged at 6:16 p.m. from Lakeside.

At 7:46 p.m. a caller reported suspicious activity at a hospital.

A bicycle was reported stolen at Eliason Harbor.

At 10:18 p.m. a caller reported fireworks on Remington Way.

May 20

At 2:46 a.m. suspicious activity was reported at a hospital.

 

Sitka Police

Curtis Anderson, 48, was arrested Tuesday morning on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on an original charge of violating a protective order.

Christopher Kodger, 53, was arrested Tuesday afternoon on a warrant for failure to maintain contact with the pretrial enforcement division, and also charged with violating conditions of release.

Sitka Fire Department received EMS calls at 1:37 p.m., 5:18 p.m. and 5:57 p.m. on Tuesday, and 5:53 a.m. today.
