Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today:

June 19

A theft was reported at a Burkhart Street apartment.

A complaint of trespassing was reported at Market Center.

Suspicious activity was reported on Gavan Street at 8:28 p.m.

At 11:09 p.m. a bear was reported on Kelly Street.

June 20

At 12:53 a.m. a disturbance was reported at a downtown bar.

A complaint of harassment was reported in the 400 block of Marine Street.

A bear was reported on the Benchlands at Kramer Avenue and Brightman at 1 p.m.

Suspicious activity was reported at a downtown business.

Domestic problems were reported at two HPR homes.

At 11:20 p.m. a bear was reported seen on Kelly Street.

June 21

At 1:15 a.m. a bear was reported on Andrew P. Hope Street.

Domestic problems were reported on Lake Street and on DeArmond Street.

Suspicious activity was reported at 224 Lincoln St. at 1:30 a.m. and at 5:33 p.m.on Seward Street.

At 1:41 a.m. a bear was seen at 1203 Georgeson Loop.

 

Sitka Police

Shane T. Towles, 30, was charged Saturday with criminal trespassing in the second degree and disorderly conduct.

Jacob J. Ogilvie, 39, was charged Saturday on two counts of assault in the third degree, domestic violence; reckless endangerment; and criminal mischief, domestic violence.

Florence Johnson, 41, was charged Sunday with domestic violence, assault in the fourth degree.

 

Emergency Calls

 

Sitka Fire Department reported six emergency calls Friday, four on Saturday and one on Sunday.
