NAHM FLOAT – Youngsters enrolled in the Sitka Native Education program ride in the Dachxanx'ee Yaagu, grandchildren's canoe, during the Native American Heritage Month parade Saturday. Native American Heritage Month events are scheduled throughout November. On Friday Sitka Tribe of Alaska will host a photo shoot of 20 families wearing traditional regalia. On Saturday there will be a Regalia and Cultural Fashion Showcase featuring entertainment by Indian Agent band at the Sheet'ka Kwaan Naa Kahidi from 7 to 8:30 p.m. (Sentinel Photo by James Poulson)
