A Coast Guard Air Station Sitka helicopter dropped off a dewatering pump Tuesday morning to a troller taking on water 11 miles northwest of Cape Decision.
The skipper of the 35-foot F/V Mickey V, the only person on board, called for help when the boat became damaged in rough waters, and its pumps were unable to keep up with the flooding. The Coast Guard left as good Samaritans and the C.G. Cutter Anacapa arrived to help.
