A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed against Amanda R. Skultka, 32.

Alex S. Robinson, 27, was given a suspended imposition of sentence after being convicted of forgery in the second degree. Six counts of forgery were dismissed.  He is to pay restitution and  will be on probation for 18 months. He was indicted in 2016 for cashing checks belonging to someone else.

Coast Guard

A Coast Guard Air Station Sitka helicopter dropped off a dewatering pump Tuesday morning to a troller taking on water 11 miles northwest of Cape Decision.

The skipper of the 35-foot F/V Mickey V, the only person on board, called for help when the boat became damaged in rough waters, and its pumps were unable to keep up with the flooding. The F/V Aleutian Dream towed the vessel to calmer waters at Table Bay (off Kuiu Island), as the helicopter arrived with the dewatering pumps.

The Coast Guard left as good Samaritans and the C.G. Cutter Anacapa arrived to help.
