The following calls were logged by 8 a.m. today:
Dec. 7
Two people were reported to be sleeping in a truck at the end of the road. The truck owner told police it ran out of gas and would be towed later. Police noted previous contact with the owner related to drug use.
A caller said her son’s golden retriever got loose in the 4200 block of HPR. It was found within 4 minutes.
At 12:14 p.m. a traffic accident was reported in a grocery store parking lot.
A resident asked if an iPhone had been turned in.
At 7:08 a.m. a 911 caller said a vehicle had rolled into a ditch, on Price Street. There were no injuries, and apparently no damage, police said.
At 10:27 p.m. a resident reported people in the roadway talking loudly outside his house in the 3200 block of HPR. He said they might have issues with each other. No one was there when police arrived.

David J. Miyasato, 28, was charged Thursday with violating conditions of release for having contact with an individual he was court-ordered not to.
Kory L. King, 41, was arrested Thursday on a material witness warrant.
Emergency Calls
At 7:07 p.m. Thursday the Sitka Fire Department dispatched a fire truck to the Gary Paxton Industrial Park after burned food set off an alarm. There was no fire.
At 7:08 p.m. Thursday a fire truck and ambulance were sent to the 300 block of Price Street after a vehicle rolled into a ditch. Police said there were no injuries.
In Court
Norman K. Paul Jr., 42, was sentenced to five days, suspended, on a charge of criminal trespass in the second degree. He will be on probation for a year.
A charge of disorderly conduct (challenge to fight) was dismissed against Cora Richards, 44.
A charge of disorderly conduct (loud noise) was dismissed against Zipporah N. Denny, 40.
A charge of driving under the influence was dismissed against Roy C. Gumayaguy, 50.
