ON THE RUN – Participants in the 24th annual Running of the Boots Fun Run take off from in front of city hall Saturday. The event was a fundraiser for the Sitka Local Foods Network and Youth Advocates of Sitka. The event coincided with the 12th Annual Season's End Celebration which included a sidewalk sale, and a free lunch sponsored by Cruise Lines International Association-Alaska. Money donated at the lunch will go to support the Sitka After-School Program. (Sentinel Photo by James Poulson)
