Dinner Benefit
For Lady Wolves
Sitka Lady Wolves will benefit from a burger dinner 1 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at the Channel Club.
A burger, fries and a drink is a minimum $15 donation. Dine in, take out or call 738-3718 for delivery.
The basketball team is raising funds to attend state tournament. The event is sponsored by the Channel Club, Chef Blanco, Northern Sales, Sea Mart and Sitka Bottling.

Sitkans Against Family Violence is offering a women’s beading group led by Sharon McIndoo. It will meet at SAFV 6-8 p.m. Mondays beginning March 19.

IFQ Sablefish
Boundaries Given
The Alaska Department of Fish and Game reminds participants in the federal Individual Fishing Quota sablefish fishery that IFQ harvest of sablefish is prohibited in all state waters of the Southeast District.
Included are internal state waters, waters of the outer coast within the three nautical mile line (0-3 miles), and waters east of the Fishery Limit Line between Cape Ommaney and 55 degrees 30 minutes north latitude. For additional information on federal IFQ fisheries for sablefish and halibut contact NOAA Enforcement at 747-6940.
