LUTHERAN QUILTERS – Members of the Quilts for Comfort Group stand between pews draped with some of the 205 quilts they made, in the Sitka Lutheran Church Tuesday. The group made the quilts for five local non-profits and one in Anchorage. Officers Installation
Ahead for Pioneers
Pioneers of Alaska state grand president James Casement will visit Sitka to install officers of local Men’s Igloo 22 and Women’s Igloo 12 on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the United Methodist Church on Kimsham Street.
Social hour is at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. and formal installation of officers.
All Pioneers are invited to assist with the ceremony. The dinner entree will be provided; side dishes are welcome from members.

Beading Class Set
For Tribal Citizens
Sarah Williams will teach beading classes, beginning with headbands,5-7 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 7-April 18, at Centennial Hall in Room 3.
Tribal citizens are invited for instruction, snacks and project supplies. Space is limited.
