Sitka police logged the following calls by 8 a.m. today:
June 11
A caller said a man was selling tools on facebook that the caller recognized were his. An officer was to call him back.
At 10:46 a.m. a caller reported a traffic accident earlier in the day that caused more than $2,000 in damage.
At 11:40 a.m. a store clerk reported a man had stolen a pair of boots.
At 6 p.m. a caller said an intoxicated man and woman were in the library entrance talking to patrons. An officer found the man had a PBT of .367. He was taken to a hospital.
At 8:19 p.m. a caller said he’d anchored his boat by the bridge rock float and now it was gone. Dispatch found the boat had been drifting and someone pulled it into the ANB dock.
At 11:20 p.m. a caller said a lot of water was running in the gutter at 600 DeGroff. An officer said not enough water was flowing to block drains. The WWTP will be called later.
At 11:50 p.m. a caller said a couple had been fighting for several hours in an apartment. Officers checked and didn’t hear any disturbance.
June 12
At 2:45 a.m. a caller said someone had been knocking on her door or window. An officer patrolled the area but didn’t see anyone.
At 3:14 a.m. a caller said a couple was arguing loudly in front of the Cathedral Arms. Officers issued disorderly conduct warnings to the two, who were intoxicated, and advised them to move on.

Itzel Nunez, 21, was arrested on a Kenai warrant for violating conditions of release. She was remanded to the Sitka jail with no bail.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received eight ambulance calls Tuesday.
In Court
Garrett Allen Smith,48, on a March 16 charge of violating a domestic violence protective order was sentenced to 30 days, suspended, and placed on probation for a year.
Eric G. Radziukinas, 48, on a March charge of driving under the influence was sentenced to 30 days with 27 suspended and fined $1,500. He is to complete treatment, his license will be revoked 90 days and he will be on probation for one year. On a charge of endangering the welfare of a minor in the first degree he was sentenced to 30 days with 23 suspended, and ordered to get treatment. He will be on probation for one year. A charge of endangering the welfare of a minor in the first degree, driving under the influence, was dismissed.
Jenni Heidi Brett, 49, on a December 2018 charge of disorderly conduct was sentenced to 24 hours, suspended. A charge of criminal mischief was dismissed.
Charla F. Bernhardt, 35, on a charge of harassment in the second degree, physical contact, was sentenced to 10 days.
