The following calls were received by Sitka police by 8 a.m. today:
April 16
A caller said his fishing rod and reel were stolen from his boat in Sealing Cove Harbor.
At 11:16 a.m. an officer was asked to stand by for a drug screening test.
A resident reported losing an expensive pair of glasses.
At 12:46 p.m. a driver told officers his car had broken down in the 700 block of Sawmill Creek Road.
A wallet was turned in and returned to the owner.
At 2:52 p.m. a caller reported a man turning into a parking lot might be intoxicated.
At 3:49 p.m. a hospital worker reported receiving a call from a woman who said she had been assaulted. Police called the woman’s mother, who said her daughter and family were out of state, but she would call to check on them.

Kerry MacLane, 56, was arrested Thursday for driving under the influence and violating conditions of release by committing a crime.
Emergency Calls
The Sitka Fire Department dispatched ambulances at 5:23 p.m. Thursday and 1:27 a.m. today.
