ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: The Sitka Economic Development Association (SEDA) seeks an accomplished administrative assistant to manage its office in Sitka. Provide for consistent application of local and State regulations relative to the appraisal process. Annual Salary $86,132.80 plus DOE/Q. Bachelors or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics or related field. Considerable experience in real and personal property appraisal, customer service and supervision; or equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work. GROUNDS MAINTENANCE Specialist. $24.00 to 27.00/hr DOQ/E. Looking for a positive, highly self-motivated team player who can work solo and assist with running and training of temporary crews as required for operations, landscaped spaces and athletic facilities including maintenance activities as well as special projects with the goal of maintaining a clean, safe and beautiful environment in the City’s common areas. PARK RANGER (Interpretation):  ANILCA Local Hire Opportunity: Sitka National Historical Park is hiring one temporary Park Ranger to perform a variety of  tasks to facilitate visitor understanding of park resources, visitor enjoyment of the park and its resources, and induce visitor behavior consistent with resource protection, to gain friendly compliance with the laws and rules for safe use of the park and encourage visitors to develop a sense of stewardship for park resources. Rate of pay is  $19.00 per hour.
