Flora E. Ouellette and Charles A. Ouellette

Charles A. Ouellette and Flora E.  Ouellette will be laid to rest at Sitka National Cemetery at 1 p.m. Monday, November 6.

All are welcome to attend, the family said.

Charles Ouellette was born August 9, 1929, in Port Angeles, Washington, and moved to Sitka in the late 1950s. He passed away May 1, 2011, from cancer in Montesano, Washington.  

Flora Ouellette was born September 25, 1940, in Sitka. Flora passed away on July 29, 2022, from complications from stroke in Vancouver, Washington.

Chuck and Flora met at the hospital when Flora was an attending nurse aid.  They married shortly after and raised a family and retired from Sitka in 1982.

They are survived by brothers Robin Ouellette, Richard Ouellette, Hubert Brown of Vancouver, Washington, and  Buzz Brown of Sitka; sons Charles A. Ouellette III and Stuart G. Ouellette, both of Portland, Oregon, and Jonathan E. Ouellette of Lynnwood, Washington; and daughter Lisa A Dellinger of Mt. Vernon, Washington.

Their grandchildren are Brian M. Ouellette of Everett, Washington;   Brandon A. Ouellette of Lake Stevens, Washington; Alyssa I. Ouellette, Lynn-wood; Alex Ouellette IV of Portland; Allison Ouellette, Christchurch, New Zealand; Coleen Ouellette, Juneau; Clifford Ouellette Jr., Juneau; Holly Ouellette, Sitka; Bruce Dellinger, Burlington, Washington; and Jay A. Delliger, Mt. Vernon, Washington. Many great-grandchildren also survive.
