A celebration of the life of Matthew John Konoske will be held Tuesday, September 7, his 57th birthday, at 130 Patterson Way. It will begin at 4 p.m. with a bonfire and potluck, to give him a proper sendoff.
Matt, a lifelong Sitka resident, left this world August 12, following a lengthy illness.
An obituary will be published in the Sentinel on Tuesday, September 7.
