Dies in Nevada
Beloved mother, daughter and friend Mary Alecia Boatright Sibio, died of cancer Aug. 12, 2015, at the home of her son, Zachary Sibio, in Eagle Mountain, Utah. She was 63. She was born Aug. 1, 1952, in Henderson, Nevada, to Diana Greer Boatright Garmann and Hugh Allen Boatright.
She lived in Sitka from 1964 to 1969 and attended Sitka High School. She led the drill team in her junior year and was active in Rainbow Girls, sponsored by the Masonic Lodge.
Alecia had a 40-year career in the gaming industry and was crowned Ms. Senior Mesquite Nevada in 2013.
She is survived by her children, Zachary, Aaron and Sarah; her brother, Blake; and her mother.
Funeralservices were held Aug. 20 at Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary, Las Vegas, Nevada. Graveside and internment were at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery.
