Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today:
July 9
At 2:25 a.m. a report of drunkenness at the ANB Harbor parking lot was logged.
A bear was seen at the top of Shotgun Alley at 5:54 a.m.
A welfare check was requested at the 400 block of Lake Street at 11:31 a.m.
A trespassing incident at a downtown hotel was logged at 12:06 p.m.
At 9:21 p.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 700 block of Biorka Street.
July 10
At 6:03 a.m. a disturbance was reported on Naomi Kanosh Lane.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 2:01 p.m. and 3:42 p.m. Thursday.
At 5:33 p.m. a fire call came in but it was canceled before the fire truck arrived.
