At 7:54 a.m. an intoxicated man was reported yelling outside a church. He left before officers arrived.
At 11:56 a.m. a single-vehicle accident was reported in the 3900 block of HPR, and the driver was arrested.
At 1:10 p.m. an intoxicated man was reported rolling around near the restrooms on Harbor Drive. Officers found it was a woman, who was taken to the hospital.
At 5:32 p.m. a dog bit a paper carrier between 2010 and 2014 HPR. The bite didn’t break the skin, and the dog was running at large. The carrier didn’t recognize the dog, police said.
An ambulance was called for a Pioneers Home resident.
A Sitka Tribe of Alaska ID card was turned in to police. The owner’s voicemail was full so no message could be left.
An ambulance was called for a resident with high blood pressure.
Officers checked on a couple in a vehicle off Airport Road and were told the vehicle had run out of gas and the couple was waiting for a friend to bring fuel. Since neither of the occupants had a valid license and the vehicle wasn’t insured it was impounded.
