Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.
November 24
At 12:04 a.m. a caller reported a bear was at 217 Vitskari Street.
At 7:42 a.m. an agency assist was received on Seward Avenue.
An animal problem was reported at 8:29 a.m. on Tilson Street.
At 9:35 a.m. a citizen assist was reported at a health clinic.
An animal problem arose on Peterson Avenue at 2:38 p.m.
A welfare check was requested at 3 p.m. on Smith Street.
At 4:04 p.m. a traffic complaint at 1800 Cascade Creek Road was logged.
At 4:27 p.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 1300 block of SMC.
At 7:45 p.m. suspicious activity was reported at a downtown hotel.
At 11:06 p.m. suspicious activity was reported at the ANB Harbor.

A case of drunkenness was reported at 12:26 a.m.in Totem Square.
Sitka Police
Allana Carlos, 23, was charged today with burglary in the second degree.
Maxwell Dicicco, 20, was charged Tuesday with felony driving under the influence and criminal mischief.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 8:49 a.m., 11:35 a.m., 2:49 p.m., 3:18 p.m. and 3:46 p.m. Tuesday, and 5:23 a.m. today.
In Court
Justin K. Osbakken, 29, on a May 14 charge of theft in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor, was sentenced to 300 days with 270 suspended, and placed on probation until Nov. 18, 2022. On an Aug. 16 charge of violating condition of release for a felony he was fined $250, suspended. On a Sept. 17 charge of violating condition of release for a felony he was fined $500, suspended. On Sept. 18 charges of driving with a canceled, revoked, or suspended license and violating conditions of release for a misdemeanor he was sentenced to 30 days, suspended, on the first charge and five days on the second. One charge of violating conditions of release was dismissed by the prosecution. On an Oct. 5 charge of violating condition of release for a felony he was fined $1,000. On a Nov. 7 charge of violating condition of release for a felony he was sentenced to 10 days. In a restitution judgment he and Stormy J. Powell, 34, were ordered to pay the municipality of Anchorage $821.40.
