Earth Day

Earth Day – Dozens of young Sitkans dressed as their favorite animals march down Lincoln Street during the annual Parade of the Species Monday, on the eve of Earth Day. Sitka Conservation Society's 4-H Alaska Way of Life and the Sitka Sound Science Center organized the event that also included games and face painting.
