Police Blotter
    Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:
November 26
    At 11:26 a.m. a power line was reported crackeling at the airport. The electric department was called.
    At 4:52 p.m. a caller said a man had been caught on tape shoplifting at a liquor store.
    At 5 p.m. a caller said an intoxicated woman in the 200 block of Lincoln might not be able to care for herself. EMS took her to a hospital.
    A caller complained of drivers speeding on Lance Drive.
    A caller said she’d learned her ex, the father of her children, had gone through her computer and other items while she wasn’t home. She was advised to document the issues.
    At 11:53 p.m. a caller said a man upset that his girlfriend wasn’t returning home was talking of harming himself. Officers eventually found him at his residence and advised him of his options. He agreed to stay home the rest of the night.

Sitka Police
    Christopher Gorup, 43, was charged with violating conditions of release by consuming alcohol.
    Walter L. Boyd, 36, was arrested on two warrants of failure to appear.
   
Emergency Calls
    Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 11:45 a.m., 12:29 p.m., 5:17 p.m., and 5:20 p.m., Tuesday, and 8:46 a.m. today.
