BULLETIN - The count of the 845 absentee and questioned ballots this afternoon did not change the outcome of the October 4 municipal election, although margins changed in some of the contests.

Steven Eisenbeisz won the mayor’s race, with about 54 percent of the vote (1,282); Valorie Nelson was second with 697 votes and Kevin Mosher was third with 391.
Proposition 1 passed, on a special marijuana sales tax to fund student activities, with 58 percent voting yes (1,369) and 42 percent (986) voting no. Ballot Prop. 2 passed as well, 81 percent in favor and 19 percent against (1,921-453).
Chris Ystad and Thor Christianson won seats to the Assembly, taking 1,440 and 1,217 votes, respectively. Richard Wein, the next-highest vote-getter, received 925, followed by Kris Chinalski, 741, and Ryan Herbert, 148. School Board candidates were unopposed for the three seats, for three years, two years and one year. Mitch Mork was the high vote-getter, 1,745; Tristan Guevin garnered 1,709 and official write in candidate Melonie Boord received 480 votes.
