Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

March 31

At 2:24 a.m. a disturbance was reported in the 400 block of Katlian Street.

At 10:29 a.m. a theft was reported in the 1600 block of SMC.

At  3:10 p.m. suspicious  activity was reported at totem park visitor center.

At 6:14 p.m. a domestic problem was reported at downtown apartments.

At 9:19 p.m. a disturbance was reported on Andrew P. Hope Street.

April 1

At 4:19 a.m. an assault was reported on Naomi Kanosh Lane.

Emergency  Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls Wednesday at 9:29 a.m., 7:24 p.m., 10:56 p.m. and 11:51 p.m.

Sitka Police

Jedidiah Kowchee, 26, was charged early today with assault.

Divorces

The following couples were granted divorces in March:

James Eric Elstad and Kija Ann Bryson Elstad.

Skye Lea Leccese Workman and Ian Lance Workman.
