Sitka Police Department logged the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.
April 12
An officer checked for parking violations at Crescent Harbor, Castle Hill parking lot, Sealing Cove, Eliason Harbor, Thomsen Harbor and ANB Harbor.
A debit card was turned in at the police station but the owner said it was an old card and asked police to dispose of it.
At 2:03 p.m. a man was reported to have been bitten by a dog at Kramer Avenue and the Harbor Mountain bypass. The animal control officer was notified.
A man at a school was served with a warrant.
A woman asked for a civil standby.
The Office of Children’s Services was asked to follow up on a report of a problem with a juvenile.
At 5:47 p.m. a welfare check was requested on an intoxicated man in the 1200 block of HPR. Officers found he indeed was intoxicated but able to care for himself.
A man said he had received numerous scam calls. Those who suspect phone calls are scams may contact consumer.ftc.gov.
Two scooters were reported stolen from the playground at 834 Lincoln Street. Police were asked to notify the owner if the scooters were found, but not to press charges.
Staff at a school asked for help for a student receiving harassing phone calls. An officer explained how to proceed.

A charge of criminal trespass in a dwelling filed against Gabriel K. Klushkan, 20, in January 2020 was dismissed by order of the court.
