Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

April 14

A traffic stop was made at 9:19 a.m. near Blatchley.

Criminal mischief was reported on Wolff Drive at 9:19 a.m.

A welfare check was made in the 500 block of HPR at 9:30 a.m.

Thefts were reported at Silver Bay Seafoods at 11:29 a.m., and on Beardslee Way at noon.

A vehicle was reported stolen on Beardslee Way.

Police dealt at the station with a civil dispute and an animal problem.

A traffic complaint came in from 2900 HPR.

A theft was reported at a business in the 1300 block of SMC.

A report of sexual abuse of a minor is being investigated.

A domestic problem was reported at 9:25 p.m. in the 200 block of Katlian.

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 9:56 a.m., 7:31 p.m. Tuesday, and 5:21 a.m. today.
