Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.
April 16
A citizen assist call from Centennial Hall was logged at 2:26 a.m.
A security check was requested on Smith Street at 2:46 a.m.
Four abandoned vehicles were reported in the 700 block of SMC, four on Indian River Road, one on Anna Circle and one at Eliason Harbor.
A family fight was reported at 8:20 a.m. on HPR.
A traffic accident with an injury was reported at 5:13 p.m. in the 600 block of SMC.
A security check was made at 11 p.m. at a business on Smith Street.
April 17
At 2:38 a.m. a security check was requested at the library.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 2:45 p.m., 6:43 p.m. 7:16 p.m., 9:03 p.m. and 9:29 p.m. Thursday.
An ambulance and a fire truck were sent to 608 SMC after a traffic accident with an injury was reported at 5:13 p.m.
In Court
Cipriano Monreal Guerrero, 43, on a charge of disorderly conduct (loud noise, disturbing neighbors) on Dec. 6, 2019, was sentenced to one day and fined $100.
