    Sitka police logged the following calls by 8 a.m. today:
April 17
    At 11:32 a.m. TSA  reported a passenger had gun parts in his carry-on. An Alaska Air employee agreed to hold the property until someone could pick it up for the passenger.
    A store on HPR asked for a trespass order against a man.
    A caller said a resident wanted to report an assault on April 12.
    A DeArmond Street resident said tools were stolen from his vehicle while he was out of town the last two weeks.
    A second report came in of a vehicle parked for a few days at the Verstovia trailhead. Dispatch had learned on an earlier call that the vehicle had broken down and the owner was to get it moved.
    April 18
    At 12:25 a.m. a caller said a man had demanded his girlfriend leave a residence with him, and also threatened to throw her clothes outside when he got back home. Officers were advised.
   
Sitka Police
    Carl Whitehurst, 39, was cited for  driving with a revoked license.
    Summer Travelstead, 21, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on an original charge of failure to give immediate notice of an accident. He additionally was charged with resisting arrest and misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree.

Emergency Calls
    Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 7:36 a.m., 6:49 p.m. and 8:59 p.m. Wednesday and 8:39 a.m. today..
