The following calls were recorded as of 8 a.m. today.

April 19

Security checks were made at  the Starrigavan boat launch and Eliason Harbor.

At 1:26 a.m. an intoxicated woman was reported near the ferry terminal. She was given a ride home.

A report of harassment on Japonski Island is under investigation.

At 3:38 p.m. a dispute between two men was reported in the 400 block of SMC. One of the men punched the other, but no one wanted to press charges.

At 5:33 p.m. a caller in the 2800 block of SMC reported lost – or misplaced – property.

At 10:49 p.m. a man was reported yelling in the 400 block of Lake Street. All was quiet when officers arrived.

Sitka Police

Bianca Hernandez, 26, was charged Wednesday afternoon with assault in the fourth degree, domestic violence.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department didn’t receive any ambulance calls Wednesday.
