Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

April 20

An animal problem was reported at 8:06 a.m. on Spruce Street.

Papers were served on Cascade Creek Road, the 2300 block of HPR, and the 1300 block of SMC.

A noise complaint was filed at 12:41 p.m. on Indian River Road.

Suspicious activity was reported on Charteris Street at 4 p.m.; the Starrigavan boat launch at 5:05 p.m.; and the 100 block of Lincoln Street at 5:34 p.m.

A citizen assist call came in at 6:54 p.m. from Monastery Street.

Security checks were made at 11:14 p.m. from Moller Drive and 11:16 p.m. from Smith Street.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 8:09 a.m., 9:25 a.m., two at noon, and one at 8:55 p.m. on Monday, and at 9:38 a.m. today.
