Sea Otter Bounty
Dear Editor: I am writing in support of the idea to have a bounty on sea otters. A very cool idea. Maximum cool. In addition, I think the bounty on bald eagles should be reinstated – they probably eat a whole bunch of sea urchins, too (or is it herring?), plus there are so many eagles that their constant chirping is getting quite annoying, especially to cats.
I also think we should have a bounty on those pesky ravens – have you seen how many garbage sacks they rip open?? Boy.
Also: squirrels (they’re sort of like rats and I bet they carry some horrible disease), slugs (maybe a nickel each, 10 cents max; great business opportunity for kids!!), and, lastly, dogs smaller than five pounds.
