Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

April 22

A citizen assist was requested at the post office at 6:30 a.m.

A protective order was logged at 8:08 a.m.

At 10:55 a.m. a juvenile problem was reported on Jamestown Drive.

At 11:07 a.m. an assault was reported. Arrests were made.

At 1:45 p.m. suspicious activity was reported at a laundry.

A citizen contact case at Whale Park was filed.

A domestic problem was reported in the 900 block of HPR at 10:27 p.m.

April 23

Security checks were made at Thomsen Harbor, ANB Harbor and the lower Moller Field shortly after 12 a.m.

Sitka Police

Eric C. Morrow, 59, was charged with assault in the second degree Wednesday afternoon.

Thomas S. Nelson, 29, was charged with assault in the second degree Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department responded to five medical calls Wednesday.
