Police Blotter
Sitka police logged the following calls by 8 a.m. today:
April 25
At 7:15 p.m. a caller reported a hit-and-run on his vehicle in a parking lot in the 700 block of HPR.
At 9:40 p.m. a 911 caller reported being in an argument with her roommates. Officers responded and found the situation was under control.
April 26
At 2:45 a.m. a caller reported loud banging coming from an apartment in the 200 block of Lincoln Street. An officer heard loud music and yelling when he approached the apartment. The resident wouldn’t give her name, and argued with the officer, who gave her a disorderly conduct warning.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 9:14 a.m., 2:41 p.m., 6:04 p.m., 6;30 p.m. and 10:02 p.m. Thursday, and 1:54 a.m. today.
At 2:15 p.m. Thursday an engine was sent to 200 Katlian for what turned out to be a false alarm.
Sitka Police
Joseph Williams, 42, was charged with criminal trespass in the second degree and violating conditions of release Thursday.
Patricia Stedman, 63, was charged Thursday evening with assault in the fourth degree, domestic violence.
