Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

April 27

A report of assault came in at 7:25 a.m. from Andrew Hope Street.

At 10:47 a.m. a hit-and-run crash was reported on Harvest Way.

A domestic problem was reported at 11:29 a.m. from the 800 block of HPR.

An animal call came in at 12:41 p.m. from Wachusetts Street.

An assault was reported on Donna Drive at 4:39 p.m.

A suicidal subject was reported at 5:33 p.m.

An alarm came in at 10:20 p.m. from Alaska Airlines.

Papers were served on Dodge Circle.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls Monday at 10:47 a.m., 12;10 p.m., 1:29 p.m., 2:08 p.m. and 5:40 p.m.

At 9:23 p.m. Monday an engine was sent to 233 Lincoln Street where a woman was stuck in an elevator. She was rescued.
