Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

April 27

A parking problem was reported at the skate park at 1:16 a.m.

At 9:28 a.m. suspicious activity was reported on DeArmond Street.

Agency assists were logged in the 1300 block of SMC and in the 1700 block of HPR at 9:38 a.m.

At 9:48 a.m. a bear was seen on Andrew P. Hope Street.

The theft of carpeting was logged.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 1300 block of SMC at 2:11 p.m.

A welfare check was requested in the 300 block of Harbor Drive at 7:10 p.m.

A disturbance on Kiksadi Court was reported at 7:49 p.m.

April 28

At 2 a.m. suspicious activity was reported on Back Beach.

At 2:39 a.m. a bear was reported in the 2000 block of Cascade Creek Road.

At 3:43 a.m. citizen contact was made at Biorka and Park streets.

 

Sitka Police

Charline Skultka, 23, was charged Tuesday with driving with a revoked license.

A petition to revoke probation was filed Tuesday against Leonty Williams, 29.

 

Emergency  Calls

Sitka Fire Department received six ambulance calls Tuesday.

At 7:49 p.m. an engine was sent to 404 Lake Street where burned food had created smoke but no fire. The smoke was cleared out.
