Police Blotter
Sitka Police Department logged the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.
April 27
At 11:50 a.m. a caller said ravens had gotten into groceries that were in the bed of a pickup parked at Centennial Hall.
At 1:51 a.m. a two-vehicle accident was reported in the 200 block of Lincoln Street. A case file was opened.
A caller said a dog she had adopted was going after her cats and she needed to return the dog to the shelter.
Officers assisted the juvenile probation officer at the airport.
A wallet found at Fred’s Creek on Kruzof Island was turned in at the police station. Officers contacted the owner.
A caller reported being concerned about children whose father was intoxicated. The Office of Children’s Services responded, and officers talked to the father.
At 7:25 p.m. adults were reported using marijuana around juveniles, near Swan Lake. Officers were unable to locate anyone matching the description.
At 8:46 p.m. a store clerk reported being harassed by a customer, who had left the building.
April 28
At 4:37 a.m. a caller reported hearing a bear in the vicinity of Rudolph Walton Circle. Officers issued a citation for having a bear attractant.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received three ambulance calls Wednesday.

Amanda Oktoyak, 36, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of criminal mischief and violating conditions of release.
