The following calls were recorded as of 8 a.m. today.

April 27

At 10:45 a.m. a fender bender was reported in the 200 block of Katlian Street. Drivers exchanged information.

At 1:04 p.m. a woman was reported throwing trash around in the 600 block of Lincoln Street. Police gave her a verbal warning.

April 28

At 12:32 a.m. a man was reported knocking on a door on Burkhart Drive. It was found he was at the wrong house.

At 5:59 a.m. a man was reported sleeping in the post office. He was awakened and told to leave.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received seven ambulance calls Thursday.

Coast Guard

A helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Sitka medevacked a 41-year-old man with atrial fibrillation, from Klawock to Sitka on Thursday. The call for help came in at 5:39 p.m. but no other times were available on the medevac.
