    Sitka police logged the following calls by 8 a.m. today:
April 26
    A caller complained people parked in a handicap space then walked over to a softball game at Moller Field, and refused to move the vehicle. Police sent the caller a citation request.
    At 3:57 p.m. a caller said two softball players had collided at Moller field, and one had a concussion.
    At 10:21 p.m. a caller said a driver wearing a black ski mask had driven by the Coliseum Theater while people were leaving, stopped for a minute then drove off.
    April 27
    At 5:05 a.m. TSA asked for police help with a passenger transporting marijuana. An officer stood by while paperwork was cleared.
    A caller said she’d found her child’s bike that had been stolen, and said a bike nearby also may have been stolen. An officer found it matched the description of a stolen one.
    Several residents reported getting scam calls from people claiming to be from IRS and threatening to seize all their assets. All the callers were advised to report to IC3.gov.
    At 6:52 a hotel reported a man sleeping in a lobby room couldn’t be awakened. He was taken to a hospital.
    At 7:16 p.m. a caller said a male with a skateboard was just sitting in the center of the round-about. He then got up and skated off.
    At 8 p.m. a hospital asked that an intoxicated man brought in earlier be picked up. Shortly afterward the hospital said the man had taken off, partially clothed. Officers found the man, and due to his level of intoxication placed him into protective custody
    At 9:37 p.m. a caller reported hearing what sounded like gunshots in the 3200 block of HPR. Later the caller said the noise was from fireworks.
    At 11:12 p.m. a man passed out in the skate park gazebo was taken to a hospital after providing a PBT of .402.
    April 28
    At 2:29 a.m. a 911 caller said he’d had too much to drink, was cramping and dry-heaving, and couldn’t walk. He was taken to a hospital.
    At 8:23 p.m. a hiker said he’d heard several gunshots while on Herring Cove Road, then seen three juveniles with rifles. He said they told him they’d been target practicing. Officers were advised.
    April 29
    At 12:57 a.m. a 911 caller said his girlfriend was talking about wanting to hurt herself after they’d just broken up. The girlfriend told officers she did not want to harm herself.
    At 4:42 a.m. TSA said a man was bringing through marijuana and had paperwork.

Sitka Police
    Patricia A. Stedman, 63, was charged Friday with violating conditions of release for being in a residence where she had been ordered not to be.
    Stephen M.M. Cowder, 25, was arrested Friday on a Palmer troopers judicial services warrant for failure to appear on original charges of criminal mischief in the fifth degree and interfering with a report of a domestic violence crime.
    Joseph D. Castro, 42, was charged Friday night with being at a residence where he’d been ordered not to be.
    Angela L. Castro, 39, was charged Friday night with hindering an arrest.
    Steven A. Ledguies, 35, was charged Friday night with driving under the influence, and cited for having an open container in a vehicle.
    Matthew S. Hartshorn, 23, was charged Saturday with two counts of violating conditions of release for failing to comply with pre-trial instruction to report on April 19, and having contact with a female in violation of court orders.
    Rubi Nicodemus, 46, was charged with violating conditions of release Sunday and cited for driving with a revoked.

   
Emergency Calls
    Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 3:53 p.m., 3:58 p.m., 9:20 p.m., 10:22 p.m. and 11:48 p.m. Friday; 2:22 p.m., 4:56 p.m., 6:56 p.m. and 11:19 p.m. Saturday; and 1:58 a.m., 2:32 a.m., 12:50 p.m., 7:11 a.m., 9:08 p.m. and 11:22 p.m. Sunday.
    At 2:27 p.m. Sunday a truck was sent to 711 Biorka St. for a small propane leak.

In Court
    Maxwell J. Dicicco, 18, on a May 17, 2018, charge of driving under the influence had probation extended three months. On a Nov. 12, 2018, charge of reckless driving he was sentenced to 30 days with 25 days suspended; his license was revoked for 60 days; and he was placed on probation for a year. Charges of minor operating a vehicle after consuming alcohol, on Nov. 12, 2018; and reckless driving, on Jan. 3, 2019, were dismissed.
    Randy A. Sipe, 57, on a  March 2 charge of theft in the fourth degree (less than $250) he was sentenced to five days. On a charge of criminal trespass in a dwelling on March 1 he was sentenced to 30 days with 20 suspended and placed on probation for a year.  Charges of criminal trespass in the second degree, upon premises; violating conditions of probation; and violating conditions of release were dismissed.
    Jarred Allan Davidson, 25, had probation revoked after a charge of violating conditions of probation on a charge of assault in the third degree.
