Police Blotter
The following calls were received by Sitka police by 8 a.m. today:
April 3
At 8:45 a.m. a caller said two men were arguing loudly in the Harbor Drive public restrooms. An officer found the two were just talking loudly, not arguing, and all was fine.
A stalking order was to be served.
Dispatch received a stalking order denial with a court date to be served.
At 5:19 p.m. a caller said her boyfriend had taken her cell phone and keys to her house. Officers contacted her at her home, and she asked that he be told she would like her things back and to get his belongings and dog out of her home.
At 5:47 p.m. a caller said a woman had started a generator on her boat several hours before and he hadn’t seen her come out of her boat. Dispatch contacted the woman, who said she sometimes, but not often, lets the generator run for awhile.
A liquor store reported having video of a couple of thefts by one man. Officers contacted a man matching the description at Pioneer Park.
At 6:15 p.m. a 911 call came in with no one speaking but a man heard yelling at someone. Officers found the caller had intervened in a dispute between his roommate and his girlfriend.
At 11 p.m. a juvenile was reported parked in a vehicle at Whale Park. Officers issued a curfew warning and a reminder of park hours.

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 6:12 p.m. and 8:22 p.m. Wednesday.
