  Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

April 2

A case of trespassing was reported on Indian River Road at 12:49 p.m.

A traffic complaint was filed at 1:48 p.m. from the 800 block of HPR.

A suicidal subject was reported at 8:20 p.m.

An incident of drunkenness was reported downtown at 10:14 p.m.

April 3

A noise complaint was filed at 2:03 a.m. from Versa Place.

At 6:13 a.m. the airport requested assistance with an unattended bag.

An incident of drunkenness was reported at 9:47 a.m. at the post office.

At 3:21 a.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 2600 block of SMC.

A civil dispute was reported at 8:40 p.m. in the 800 block of HPR.

A theft was reported at the airport parking lot at 9:09 p.m.

A noise complaint was filed at 9:30 p.m. on DeGroff Street.

At 11:09 p.m. citizen contact was made at Sandy Beach.

April 4

At 10:36 a.m. an animal problem was reported in the 1200 block of HPR.

At 3:16 p.m. citizen contact was made at a Harbor Mountain Road gate.

At 5:39 p.m. an incident of drunkenness was reported at the skate park.

On a report of suspicious activity on 4:14 p.m. March 30, further details obtained today state a girl, 15, had reported a man in a car had motioned her to get into the vehicle as she walked on Airport Road. She had refused. Police tried unsuccessfully to locate the car, police records show.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 8:24 p.m. Friday; at 5:55 p.m. and 10:44 p.m. Saturday, and at 11:09 a.m., 12:32 p.m. and 4:12 p.m. Sunday.

Jack Joseph, 31, was arrested on a warrant Friday stemming from January felony charges of burglary in the second degree, theft in the second degree, and violating conditions of release.
