Sitka Police Department logged the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.
April 4
At 11:40 a.m. a tenant was removed from an apartment with an apparent plumbing problem.
At 12:25 p.m. two dogs were reported running at large in the 100 block of Smith Street. The animal control officer was unable to locate the two, but at 2:57 p.m. found one of them in the area and took it to the shelter.
A landlord talked to officers about getting two people trespassed.
At 7:55 p.m. a parent talked to officers about having problems with a child. She was advised of her options.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received one ambulance call Monday.

Craig McGilvray, 40, was arrested March 29 on two counts of assault in the fourth degree.
Paula Jackson, 37, was arrested March 30 on a charge of driving under the influence.
Brendan Hoffay, 28, was arrested today for violating conditions of release on a charge of assault in the fourth degree, domestic violence.
Federal Charges
Joshua Wehnes, 33, was arrested Monday on a U.S. Marshals warrant on charges of possession with intent to distribute and possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking. He is to be arraigned 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in federal court in Anchorage.
