    The following calls were received by Sitka police by 8 a.m. today:
April 8
    A liquor store reported a window had been broken. Police viewed video and determined no one had broken the window; it broke on its own.
    A caller said he had loaned a bike to the Forest Service for use by an intern about two years ago and when he’d recently asked for it back was told it was lost or stolen, apparently recently. He said he didn’t have details on when or where it was last seen.
   At 4:43 p.m. a caller said a highly intoxicated man fell at the public restrooms on Harbor Drive and was on the sidewalk with people around him. He was gone when officers arrived.
     A caller said feces had been spread on the front and back doors of the Masonic Lodge at 313 Lake Street.  The caller said he’d cleaned it up but did have photos.
    At 6:48 p.m. a caller said he’d found a dead raven and put it in a crate next to a telephone pole at 607 Lincoln Street. The Raptor Center was advised.
   


Sitka Police
    Joseph D. Castro, 42, was charged Monday with violating conditions of release by having contact at a residence where he’d been ordered not to be.
    Felicia L. Allinger, 27, was charged Monday with assault in the fourth degree - domestic violence.

Emergency Calls
    Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 9:53 a.m., 2;07 p.m., 2:35 p[.m., 4:40 p.m.,9:08 p.m., and 10:21 p.m. Monday, and 2:50 a.m. today.

Grand Jury
    Vaughn Joseph Dalton, 23, was indicted by a Sitka grand jury April 4 on class C felony charges of theft in the second degree and vehicle theft in the first degree. He is accused in the March 31 theft of a car.
    Devon M. Daly, 20, was indicted on a charge of criminal mischief in the third degree, a class C felony. He is accused of damaging a house door with a large wooden beam on March 26.
