Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.

April 8

A utility problem was reported in the 1200 block of HPR at 4:49 a.m.

Parking problems were reported at 1605 HPR at 9:43 a.m., and at Super 8 at 10 a.m.

An auto impound was requested in the 1300 block of SMC at 1:20 p.m.

A theft was reported in the 2200 block of SMC at 1:51 p.m.

A civil dispute was reported at 6:15 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. in the 1500 block of Edgecumbe Drive.

April 9

A caller in the 1700 block of Edgecumbe Drive requested EMS at 2:39 a.m.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 10:04 a.m., 10:36 a.m., 5:41 p.m. and 7:12 p.m. Wednesday, and at 2:46 a.m. today.

In Court

Delbert Benjamin Kadake Jr., of Kake, was found guilty  of violating commercial fishing seasons and periods for net gear regulations in August 2019, and fined $6,000 with $2,000 suspended. He is to be on probation for two years.
