Dear Editor: My name is Jonathan Wolf, and tomorrow Sitkans will decide who helps guide our community’s future.
I’m asking for your vote for Sitka Assembly.
When I began this campaign, my goal was simple: to help make Sitka a place where people can build a future, raise a family, and make this their home if they choose. Throughout this campaign, I’ve spoken with parents struggling to find child care, families working hard to stay in the community they love, and neighbors who keep our harbors, classrooms, and small businesses going every day. We share the same hopes. That Sitka remains a place where people can live and work sustainably, where opportunity is accessible, and where thoughtful planning protects the character of this place we all care about.
I’m not a career politician. I’m a small business owner, a parent, and a neighbor who believes leadership starts with listening, hard work, and transparency.
Sitkans deserve steady, practical representation that focuses on balanced solutions and keeps public trust at the heart of every decision.
Show your support for Sitka by voting tomorrow. Who we choose reflects our values and our priorities: honesty, integrity, and the willingness to do the work. I would be honored to earn your vote and the opportunity to serve this community with the same dedication I bring to my work, my family, and my neighbors every day.
Jonathan Wolf,
Sitka Assembly Candidate
