Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:

August 10

A parking problem was reported at GPIP at 8:38 a.m.

At 1:42 p.m. an animal problem was reported in the 400 block of Katlian Street.

At 2:35 p.m. a person was reported possibly missing.

A welfare check was requested on Indian River Road.

At 5:18 a.m. a violation of wildlife regulations (wood cutting) at Starrigavan was reported.

An abandoned vehicle at Sealing Cove was reported.

At 11:55 p.m. a report of suspicious activity was logged. The site was not given.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 9:22 a.m., 11:41 a.m., 12:24 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 4:57 p.m. Monday.
