Thank You, Sitka
Dear Editor: To the residents of Sitka and one good Samaritan.
On a recent fishing trip to your lovely city I lost my glasses and wallet between the dock and my hotel. Within 30 minutes I received a call from the Sitka Police Department asking if I had lost a wallet and glasses. A good Samaritan had placed my lost items in the drop box at the police department. With the economic struggles and the turmoil in our country today, it is so refreshing to know there are still honest and caring people willing to help their fellow man.
Thank you to the Sitka Police Department, and a heartfelt thank you to the good Samaritan! Thanks again to the Sitka community, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this COVID pandemic.
With much appreciation,
Mack Rawhouser,
Sublette County Commissioner,
Big Piney, Wyoming
