Dear Editor: Wow! Did you hear the morning interview on KCAW yesterday? The coming Sitka Health Summit planning day is getting geared up – and asking for ideas from the public. And you don’t have to “go to the web” or “email us @.’’
Four locations were identified where we digitally disadvantaged can leave WRITTEN suggestions and comments. Also, another option was kindly provided: a real phone number, maybe with a real person who will answer. Wow! Double wow!
I’m going to write my suggestion down in my best third grade CURSIVE and take it to the library!

A belated thank you to our fine Assembly, too. The ordinance to allow an important question concerning our Sitka Community Hospital lands and buildings to appear on the October 5 ballot was passed at their last meeting.
It is a real privilege to live in Sitka.
